Job Description The Department of Psychology at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC) invites applications for atenure track position for an Assistant Professor in clinical or counseling psychology beginning fall of 2020. Successful candidates will be expected to teach core undergraduate and masters level graduate courses such as abnormal psychology, psychological assessment and courses in their area of specialization consistent with departmental needs. Candidates will have an active research program that includes mentoring undergraduate and graduate student research, provide clinical supervision to masters' level students (clinical faculty) and actively engage in service to the department, college, university and profession.

Required Qualifications:
A Ph.D. or Psy.D in clinical/counseling psychology from an APA accredited program.
Be license eligible as a psychologist in the State of Texas at the time of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
A strong assessment background.
Research or clinical interests have a broadly defined health or diversity focus and which contributes to the department's developing research focus in these areas.
