In this position, you will have the opportunity to provide a wide variety of psychotherapeutic services for common mental and emotional difficulties as well as providing comprehensive Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services to employers, employees, and family members.

Your day.

As a Behavioral Health Counselor with us, you need to know how to:

• Provide comprehensive intake examinations and mental health assessments, and determine accurate DSM V multi-axial diagnosis based on clinical information.
• Provide Mental Health services to individuals, couples, families and groups, using a variety of treatment approaches and tools.
• Provide education and/or training services to EAP contracted companies and groups.
• Make appropriate referrals for patients needing services outside the scope of BHA/EAP.

Your experience.

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field, required
• Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LPC) license, required
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within three (3) months of hire, preferred
• At least two (2) years of post-licensure experience, preferred
