Directs and provides a variety of program therapy modalities to patients requiring in-patient hospitalization for mental health care. Works under the direction and in collaboration with, the hospital�s medical staff. Complies with the objectives and policies of the hospital. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with the program�s standards. May be needed to work beyond the regular tour of duty or assume other job duties as assigned by department head.

Qualifications:
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (including required licenses/certifications, education and job knowledge/experience):
Certified Music Therapist, Certified Activity Therapist
Recent experience in mental health care preferred
Current BLS Certification
Effective oral and written communications in the English language
Visual and hearing senses must be adequate to assess/detect changes in human physiological condition
Able to function effectively in fast paced
