VA Wilkes-Barre is seeking our Chief, Mental and Behavioral Health Service to lead Mental and Behavioral Health Service medical center operations!
Highly qualified candidates will be Board Certified Psychiatrists with management or leadership experience. As a member of service level leadership, you will have full and final administrative responsibility for planning, developing, coordinating, directing, and evaluating an integrated mental health program to both outpatients and inpatients of WB VAMC.
In this role, you will:
Perform a wide range of higher-level management functions for Wilkes-Barre VAMC, CBOCs and VISN 4 through participation in planning and oversight boards, councils, and committees.
Develop and maintain continuing programs in the areas of professional peer review organizational improvement, continuing education, scope of practice, human resource management, clinical privileging, organizational stewardship and other quality improvement activities for a multidisciplinary staff are also essential to this position.

Tour of Duty: M-F 8-4:30. Salary and sign on bonus negotiable.
