Comprehensive Psychology Services, P.C., established in 2001, is an extremely busy private practice with a strong referral base from the local medical community in the Northwest Indiana region. We specialize in working collaboratively with referring physicians to provide psychological services for a wide range of mental health and medical conditions. Our medical referral base includes general practitioners, pediatricians, pain management specialists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, psychiatrists and a concussion clinic. We also receive referrals from the area school systems, insurance and EAP providers, workman compensation medical case managers, and the Social Security Disability Determination Bureau. The practice offers the opportunity to consult and collaborate with one another to provide the best psychological care possible. The practice has included tele-health services when requested, but is also currently conducting in-person services.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide outpatient therapy and psychological/neuropsychological assessments to a range of clientele, including children, adolescents, adults and geriatric populations
Conduct clinical consultations and diagnostic assessments
Prepare documentation, correspondence, and provide quality written reports and exhibit verbal communication skills necessary for the highest quality, professional patient care
Perform Mental Status Examinations as well as intellectual and Memory assessments for Social Security Disability Claimants
Select and complete the appropriate therapeutic interventions based upon client needs, clinical knowledge, and evidence-based best practices.

The practice has a current waiting list with appointments scheduled months in advance. The qualified candidate would have an immediate patient caseload once managed care affiliations are established
Job Requirements:
Experience/Education:
Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology or similar required with current, valid, and active license to practice as a Psychologist (HSPP) in the state of Indiana as a PhD or PsyD
Experience in neuropsychological assessments of children, adolescents, adults and seniors. Recent graduates will be considered depending on internship and residency experiences. Ability to provide outpatient therapy to children is highly sought.
