Responsible for group/individual therapy to ensure the provision of individualized treatment and quality mental health and chemical dependency services with co-occurring disorder adults.
This is a full-time opportunity (1.0 FTE, 80 hrs/ pay period) to primarily work from home via telehealth, with in-person interaction at St. Joseph's/St. John's as needed. This Licensed Psychotherpist provides mental health and addiction services in a group therapy and individual format. This posiition contributes to the development, implementation, and evaluation of theclient's treatment experiencein collaboration with otherstaff members- we work as a team.
$2500 Sign On Bonus is offered.
Responsibilities/Job Description
Facilitates group therapy with patients, both alone and with additional staff, via M Health Fairview approved telemedicine applications
Provides individual psychotherapy to patients, including diagnostic assessments,via M Health Fairview approved telemedicine applications
Assesses, identifies, and addresses the special needs of adult mental health and addiction patients when directly providing group/individual psychotherapy
Documents patient information in EHR and/or other electronic system in accordance with program standards, department policies/procedures
Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards
Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements
Performs other responsibilities as needed/assigned
Qualifications
Required:
One of the following: LGSW/ LISW/ LICSW through MN Board of Social Work, LAMFT/ LMFT through MN Board of Marriage and Family Therapy, or LPC/ LPCC through MN Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy
LADC licensure through MN Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy
Able to facilitate group and individual therapy via MHealth Fairview approved telemedicine applications
Able to provide in-person group and individual therapy when medically safe for both staff and patient
First Aid Certification through American Heart Association
CPR Certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association
1 to 2 years of experience in alcohol and drug counseling
Knowledge of chemical abuse assessment and treatment
May need to have current valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation
