Within our psychiatric inpatient program, you’ll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of mental health clinicians committed to providing optimal care, promoting patients’ successful reintegration into society, and reducing recidivism. During the COVID-19 state of emergency, the Mental Health Program will offer Telework options which will be provided based on operational availability. In addition, hiring interviews will be available virtually using teleconferencing or video conferencing options.
In this key position, you will:
Provide psychological assessment and treatment, crisis intervention, and discharge planning
Participate in committee work, interdisciplinary team conferences, and meetings
Prepare comprehensive patient reports
While a valid California Psychologist license is required, the ideal candidate will also have:
Inpatient experience or treating a severely and persistently mentally ill population
Interest in supervising unlicensed clinicians
Ability to develop patient-centered treatment plans
Excellent communication skills and open to opportunities to learn and grow
