The Marcus Autism Center, a subsidiary of Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta, and in collaboration with the Pediatric Institute, seeks an outstanding psychologist with specialization in early identification, screening, diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related neurodevelopmental disorders in infants and toddlers. This position primarily focuses on intervention for children ages 12 months to 3 years, who are referred due to concern for or diagnosis of ASD. This position may also be asked to conduct diagnostic evaluations for children ages 12 months to 18 years who are referred due to a concern of ASD.
Preferred Qualifications:
Successful candidates will possess a PhD in clinical psychology, school psychology or a related field and have completed an APA-accredited internship and postdoctoral fellowship. Ideal candidates will have clinical training/background in early intervention programs, such as Project ImPACT, and assessment of toddlers and preschoolers and be research reliable in administering the ADOS-2. In-house training and re-specialization is possible for competitive applications.
