Central City Concern is seeking a full-time Associate Medical Director to help lead its Specialty Mental Health Services team in Portland, Oregon. This is a highly innovative non-profit agency focused on personal and community transformation through its comprehensive withdrawal management and stabilization services for those with substance use disorders. Within this organization, you will join a multidisciplined team currently providing comprehensive mental health and psychiatric services for people with a broad range of mental health needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a severely mentally ill patient population as well as time spent in a formal leadership capacity. Be a key member of an organization making a real difference amongst a vulnerable patient population in the Portland metro area.
Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule
1:5 to 1:7 telephone-only call rotation
Multiple levels of outpatient specialty mental healthcare supported by integrative Behavioral Health Care Teams
Two culturally specific dual-diagnosis outpatient programs
Dedicated and highly mission-oriented group
Care for an underserved, public-psychiatry population
Where You'll Work
A state-licensed outpatient mental health and addiction treatment program for adults, Old Town Recovery Center has been a mainstay provider to Portland, Oregon's severely mentally ill for more than 20 years. The majority of clients experience both mental illness and addiction challenges, some are homeless, and all have been impacted by poverty. Services include case management, counseling, addiction treatment and medication management. Every year, 650 patients find solace and stability at the Old Town Recovery Center.
