The Senior Social Worker practices within the Housing and Urban Development / VA Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) Program within Social Work Service of Long Beach VA. The Senior Social Worker is responsible for coordination of case management services for veterans receiving housing provided through HUD Section 8 housing vouchers. The incumbent in this position functions as the Case Manager for the Long Beach VAMC in partnership with HUD-VASH.
