The Senior Social Worker (Homelessness) is assigned to the Behavioral Health Care Line, and is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, VA Health Care System campus. The incumbent serves as a coordinator of programming for Veterans with SUD who need assistance with community resources, such as those that are homeless or at risk for homelessness within the Outpatient Specialty Section and across other levels of mental health care. This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT and will remain open until December 30, 2022. The initial cut-off date for referral of eligible applications will be September 30, 2022, with subsequent cut-off dates on the 15th of each month. Eligible applications received after that date will be referred at regular intervals or as additional vacancies occur on an as-needed basis
