*Frequent travel will be required to in the Los Angeles & Sepulveda areas to conduct home visits. A government issued vehicle will be used for field-based work.* The position services Veterans in the Home-Based Primary Care Program. The HBPC Program has various work sites within VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. The Social Worker practices social work at an advanced level in the HBPC program which is a major specialty treatment program and a component of the Geriatrics & Extended Care. Applicants pending the completion of educational, or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
