This position is located at the Albany VA Medical Center in Albany, NY. The Social Worker will serve as part of the Mental Health and Social Work Service assigned to the Primary Care Mental Health Integration (PCMHI) Program. The Social Worker will function as the behavioral health consultant on an interdisciplinary medical team, conducting initial mental health assessments and providing evidence-based individual and group therapy. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
