Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Mental Health Assistant for the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit at Morristown Medical Center to work 12 hour shifts, including every other weekend.Responsibilities Essential Functions/Responsibilities:Demonstrated knowledge & understanding of psychiatric disorders & patients. Use therapeutic communication skills in individual & group interactions with psychiatric patients. Provide 1-to-1 interventions with patients.
