REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Psychologist/Pediatric Eating Disorders Specialist. Faculty level position in the Division of Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology. The position requires a PhD and Ohio state licensure eligibility. Requirements of the position include professional knowledge and clinical ability sufficient to provide evidence-based treatment of children and adolescents with complex eating disorders including ARFID. Successful applicants will have experience in the provision of direct patient care to children, adolescents, and families. They will participate in safe, effective, and compassionate clinical care. The individual can independently perform procedures, collect and analyze clinical data, and make decisions regarding patient care (e.g., initial screening, assessment, diagnosis, and prognosis). Prior experience working within a multi-disciplinary treatment team in a medical setting is ideal. Additional preferred competencies include: 1.) understands and supports family-centered care, 2.) appreciates cultural differences and tailors treatment interventions to meet associated needs; and 3.) effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
