ChristianaCare School-Based Health Centers are looking for a casual Behavioral Health Therapist to join their growing team.
This position will cover staff absences due to illness, medical leave, bereavement, jury duty, etc.
The School-Based Health Centers is a partnership between ChristianaCare, the School Districts, and the Delaware Division of Public Health. The centers provide health care via a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Advanced Practice Clinicians, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health, and a Registered Nurses.
You would be a member of the team that works together to build a partnership within the school environment to support and address all the needs of the children we serve.
Highlights:
Provides psychological care appropriate for the youth and young adult population. This requires the ability to conduct assessments, obtain and interpret information, to identify age and culturally specific patient needs, and to provide the care needed.
Your schedule will consist of 8 hours/week for 36 weeks per year worked primarily during the school year.
Requirements:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or LCSW preferred
LMSW may be considered with requirements to obtain LCSW within 1-year and/or LPCMH for specific populations
LPCMH or LMFT also acceptable
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in mental health setting preferred
