SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The purpose of the Crisis Co-Responder position is to support law enforcement on behavioral health calls for service and, when possible, divert individuals from the use of hospital emergency departments, jails and prisons to address behavioral health needs. Crisis Co-Responders facilitate crisis intervention, de-escalation, resources and referral to treatment. The Crisis Co-Responder provides resources and follow-up to connect clients with resources and behavioral health treatment after crisis has concluded.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field required.
Minimum three (3) years of job-related experience (ex: psychology, social work, criminal justice, case management, etc.)
