The incumbent is responsible for the management, coordination, and provision of social work services to Veterans and their families enrolled at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) in the Primary Care settings. The Primary Care Mental Health Initiative (PCMHI) Social Worker delivers evidence-based care for primary care patients identified with a variety of emotional and psychiatric problems including depression, anxiety disorders, and alcohol misuse. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
