Rush Neurobehavioral Center (RNBC), a division of Behavioral Science at Rush University Medical Center (RUMC) in Chicago, Illinois is expanding. We are currently accepting applications for a Pediatric Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist opportunity in Skokie, Illinois.
Primary responsibilities of this position include conducting intake/interviews with patients and their parents and completing comprehensive psychological/neuropsychological assessments for differential diagnosis of a variety of client populations and presenting these results to parents and schools when requested. Populations include but are not limited to children with ADHD, learning disabilities, language disorders, anxiety, mood disorders and social impairments, including those accompanying ASD as well as a variety of complex medical presentation including head injury, seizure disorders, hydrocephalus, chromosomal abnormalities etc. Preference is given to individuals who have extensive experience with assessment of children and adolescents with variety of co-occurring disorders. Candidates must possess a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program, postdoctoral training in psychological/neuropsychological assessment and are Illinois license eligible. Experience with school consultations and evidence-based treatment methods are a plus. RNBC has a rich training program including diagnostic and advanced assessment students as well as two post-doctoral fellowship positions in neuropsychology. Faculty are encouraged to supervise students and also have the opportunity to participate in the training of the fellows during overlapping cases of interest. Salary and faculty appointment in the Department of Behavioral Science will be commensurate with experience.
