Newton Medical Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician to work Full-time in Out-patient Behavioral Health.
Responsibilities
Clinician for acute partial/intensive outpatient program that works with primary mental health, secondary substance misuse treatment issues. responsibilities include assessment of the patients biopsychosocial information, complete evidenced based screening tools, ability to conduct various psycho-educational, therapeutic patient and family groups, individual and family sessions, conduct urine drug screens and breathalyzers, work within an interdisciplinary team setting, complete insurance and medication authorizations as necessary, maintain and complete patient documentation daily according to department policies, and other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Masters- degree in mental health with License (LCS or LPC )
REQUIREMENTS:
2+ years of mental health experience
