JOB DESCRIPTION
Development of Clinical Excellence: Actively participates in department/division and system learner training and educational programs. Maintains currency in field through continuing education, literature and seminars. Policy Compliance: maintains good standing in the department by compliance to licensure and credentialing criteria. Comply with policies and procedures protecting patient rights for informed consent and the handling of confidential information as defined by Cincinnati Children's mission and applicable laws and regulations. Follow Cincinnati Children's established code of ethical behavior in decisions.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Therapy/Milieu Program - Collaborate with unit clinical leaders and direct care staff to implement evidence based treatment program and continuously assess fidelity of overall program .
2. Clinical Staff competency/development - Implement strategies to ensure fidelity of overall program and skills/competency of staff facilitating the program.
3. Direct patient care with parents of patients on TCC
4. Patient Outcome Evaluation - Evaluate patient outcomes associated with day to day clinical intervention
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required: PhD or PsyD *Minimum experience in assessment and evidence-based treatment of families of children with complex medical conditions such as the patients served on the TCC.
Preferred: Preferred: *Experience within an inpatient hospital setting collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
