The San Francisco VA Medical Center is hiring a highly qualified, motivated Mental Health Social Worker for our Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Ukiah, CA.

The HUD-VASH program, a partnership between the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Department of Veterans Affairs, is an intensive case management program for chronically homeless Veterans aimed at providing psychosocial services to Veterans who acquire permanent housing through HUD's Section 8 voucher system.
The Social Worker in this position functions as Case Manager for the HUD/VA Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) Program located in Ukiah, CA.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Must have a master's degree in social work from a school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). Have a master's degree in social work from a school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
Licensure. Persons hired or reassigned to social worker positions in the GS-185 series in VHA must be licensed or certified by a state to independently practice social work at the master’s degree level.
