Position Information:
Lee Physician Group is seeking full-time board eligible/board certified Clinical Psychologist to join our outpatient OB/Gyn practice in Fort Myers. The candidate for this position must have a doctorate in psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA-approved training program. Applicant must hold a Clinical Psychologist License and previous experience, or current interest, in womens health. The candidate will provide behavioral medicine services which include applying psychological knowledge and principles in an integrated care setting to treat common physical and mental health problems experienced by patients and families in care, including consultation, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment consistent with an integrated care model. Maintains records and attends required hospital and residency meetings. Collaborate with colleagues on the inpatient and outpatient services. Primary responsibility will be to assist with developing services consistent with collaborative care within a patient-centered medical home. There will be some opportunity to provide didactics, run a support group, and teach residents within the same specialty.
