Position Information:
The Mental Health Tech I provides direct patient care and management of patients with medical and behavioral issues under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse by performing non-professional patient care services crisis intervention therapeutic interactions and behavior management. The Mental Health Tech I also provides non-direct patient care by providing continuous observation and surveillance of patients through an interactive visual monitoring system or a closed-circuit TV monitoring system.

Experience Requirements:
1 Year Clinical - Related Area Required - And 1 Year Clinical - Mental Health Preferred

Education Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - Or College Courses Nurse Aide Required

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Nurse Aide I Required

Hours of Work:
7p-7a every other weekend & (3) 11p-7a shifts varying days of week M-F

Weekend Requirements:
Every Other

Call Requirements:
As needed
