JOB SUMMARYThe Manager Social Work manages the daily activities and services provided by staff, students, and volunteers. Ensures patients and family members are provided with detailed education, consultation and advice needed to cope with issues which arise from various emotional or physical problems as outlined by the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners scope of practice. Manages and oversees a variety of services including crisis intervention, bereavement, client advocacy, referrals, prevention, education, discharge planning and implementation, and psychosocial assessments.Location: Plano, TX - The Heart HospitalSetting: Care Management
