The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System is recruiting for an Independent Practice Level Social Worker - Mental Health Intensive Care Manager for the Lee County VA Healthcare Center in Cape Coral, FL. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Independently provides a full range of assessment, evaluation and community case management services appropriate to the mental health setting, especially in the areas of emotional and behavioral problems. Functions as case manager for Veterans in the ICMHRS program to facilitate independent community living by coordinating mental health and community care. Provides a range of advanced interventions consistent with training and expertise, with special emphasis on brief and evidenced-based interventions found to be effective in case manage
