The Social Worker Program Coordinator, locally titled Grant and Per Diem (GPD) Liaison, is a full-time position in the Patient Experience and Social Work Departments at the Albany VAMC in Albany, NY. The GPD Liaison is primarily responsible for the administrative and clinical oversight of the Grant and Per Diem (GPD) Program, a program that provides homeless Veterans with transitional housing and supportive services in an environment that supports recovery. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
