HUD-VASH is an intensive case management program for chronically homeless Veterans aimed at providing psychosocial services to stabilize Veterans residing in housing through HUD's Section 8 voucher system. The HUD-VASH Program Coordinator serves to facilitate implementation of housing best practices strategies at the local level through education, monitoring and coordinating activities.
