Behavioral Health Tech PRN Days Position Summary
Facilitates the maintenance of the therapeutic environment in the psychiatric unit and assists patients with daily living activities. Establishes a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients.
POSITION DUTIES
Takes vital signs, weighs patients and collects routine specimens. Attends and participates in group therapy, in-service education and staff meetings.
Qualifications:THE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TECH PRN DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
EDUCATION
Required: Minimum 60 hours of human services, psychology, education, sociology, or related field.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION
Required: Current CPR, CPI (or equivalent). (Can obtain during orientation).
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required: 1 year of experience
