The Full Time Psychologist is located in the Mental Health Service Line. This position is an integral member of the Mental Health Intake Clinic (MHI) which is an interdisciplinary treatment team. The psychologist will primarily complete diagnostic interviews/intakes, psychological assessments, crisis interventions, and triage/consultation work. These services may occur in the MHI outpatient clinic, the Emergency Department, or as part of the Inpatient Psychiatry Consultation-Liaison service. Major duties include, but are not limited to: Clinical Responsibilities (80% time) Provides a full range of psycho-diagnostic services including assessment and using the most appropriate psychotherapeutic techniques in providing quality care. Provides emergency department triage/assessments, completes
