Licensed Mental Health Counselor (Bridges Program)
The principal role of the Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is to provide timely evaluation, brief treatment, and care transition support for Veterans as a member of the Bridges Program in the Behavioral Health (BHS) of Mann-Grandstaff Veterans Affairs Medical Center (MGVAMC). This position is based at the main campus of the MGVAMC in Spokane, Washington, with occasional travel to the community-based outpatient clinic (CBOC) in Couer d'Alene, Idaho. Psychosocial Treatment and Intervention: Provides assessment and treatment of Veterans' mental health and substance abuse disorders, with the goals of quickly initiating care for Veterans who are new to the system or in transition between services or providers; assessing Veterans' needs.
