The Senior Social Worker in the Behavioral Health Integrated Program (BHIP) Substance Use Disorder (SUD) specialist provides advanced practice, Evidence Based treatment to a highly complex population. This population consists of individuals with chronic substance use disorders, mental illness (particularly anxiety, mood disorders, and PTSD), chronic health conditions (i.e., cirrhosis, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis), Traumatic Brain Injury, and homelessness. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
